Abbey Road Institute is thrilled to open its doors once again to all aspiring producers looking to make 2016 the year to take their production career to the next level.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, Feb 20th 2016 from 11am to 3pm to attend an inspiring and informative day of talks, performances and tours. Have all your questions about music production and the audio industry answered as well as gain an exclusive insight in to what the life of an Abbey Road student is like.
Abbey Road also welcomes special-guest performers, The Vanns, who are travelling from NSW just for an exclusive performance, which will include their Unearthed and Triple J featured hits “Don’t Hold Me Back”. and “Sunday to Sunday”.. While performing, guests can mingle with current Abbey Road students and the band in a live recording environment and answer any questions they may have on recording techniques.
Also on the day we have a fantastic opportunity for you to meet and mingle with a true legend of the music scene Lance Krive.
Lance is known as the architect of the Diploma of Sound Production (Live Sound) in the industry here and internationally. As Head VET lecturer for Abbey Road Institute, Melbourne, he is one of the people behind the development and implementation of the course, and his CV is, to say the least, positively mind-boggling!
Also on the day 2 lucky attendees will also win an Abbey Road Producer prize pack, which includes a voucher for 50% off the total cost of any short course offered in 2016.
