Zak Baker
Zak Baker, originally from London and now based in Sydney, Australia, is a highly accomplished recording and mix engineer with a rich pedigree in the music industry. His extensive work has contributed to multiple UK number 1 albums and BRIT award-winning projects, amassing over half a billion streams. Zak’s notable collaborations include artists such as Jungle, Glass Animals, PinkPantheress, The Kooks, Skepta, A$AP Rocky, and Sam Fender.
Zak’s career highlights include engineering on J Hus’s chart-topping album “Big Conspiracy” and working on tracks for You Me At Six. He has also contributed to projects with The Dualers and Octavian. Following his graduation in 2018 from Abbey Road Institute, Zak honed his skills at Blue Bell Hill Studios in Kent, part of the Miloco studios network, where he worked under the guidance of Barny Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Sam Fender).
In Australia, Zak continues to develop his craft at Studios 301, Australia’s premier recording studio, and serves as a Student Services Administrator at Abbey Road Institute Sydney.
