Abbey Road Institute’s January Open Day was a huge success. The guests, students, and staff stayed for an extra 2 hours longer than the day was scheduled! Everyone was curious to learn about our approach to teaching production and the “mind blowing” equipment in-house. We’re proud to announce that we have already filled half of the March intake with entry interviews commencing next Monday!

The day started with around 40 people eager to get into our world-class facility and have tours throughout the institute. Guests had their technical hardware questions answered and they explored the campus studios.

We began the Producer Panel with accomplished, approachable and magnificent producers Paul Brandoli, Simon Cohen, Alex Braithwaite and Beau McKee. Once again, the Q&A went over time and who could blame a room full of creatives and potential students in wanting to know all the secrets and stories from these industry masters.

Above all, the Student Panel is close to our hearts here at Abbey Road Institute. Our student’s pride in their school is a wonderful authentic representation of how dynamic and practical our course is.

Finally, the day was tremendous fun and we look forward to seeing familiar faces at our Study for a day on the 11th of February!

Before I was at Abbey Road, it was easy to write a song, and get a singer. But the songwriting process doesn’t work like that. It was important to understand vocal production, writing, and music. It should all happen simultaneously.

Joel Robinson, Graduate

Abbey Road really helped me with the foundation of audio. It’s an overwhelming subject at first, but [the course] really breaks it down and really makes it digestible.

Charlotte Adelle, Graduate

The time I spent at Abbey Road Institute helped me transform my skills. I came from a bedroom producer who made music as a hobby to an audio professional.

Phoenix Manson, Graduate

Abbey Road was the perfect stepping stone into my professional career as an artist and audio engineer.

Alex Braithwaite, Graduate

Studying the past year at Abbey Road has been phenomenal. The teaching staff are top notch and I now have a community of people to draw on who are as obsessed with music as me.
