The first Pride SongHubs Songwriting Camp 2023

Calling all LGBTQIA+ songwriters, producers and artists! We are excited to be part of Pride SongHubs 2023 hosted by APRA AMCOS and curated by Troye Sivan and Lucas Keller.

WHAT IS SONGHUBS?

SongHubs is a short, intensive songwriting camp bringing together songwriters across Australia, New Zealand and the world. It provides the opportunity for writers to collaborate on new commercially viable songs. Pride SongHubs 2023 will be the 90th event since its inception in 2013. This year’s Pride edition, presented as the flagship event SongHubs The Tower, is the first of its kind.

We are especially excited to give 6 additional people the opportunity to participate in this unique songwriting event by providing access to our exclusive Abbey Road Institute production suites at Studios 301.

WHO IS CURATING PRIDE SONGHUBS?

Troye Sivan is undoubtedly one of Australia’s most successful songwriters and pop stars. His 2016 debut album Blue Neighbourhood (mastered at Studios 301) got nominated for 3 ARIA Awards including Album of the Year.

Lucas Keller‘s company Milk & Honey represents some of the music industry’s finest, with multiple gold and platinum awards, Billboard chart #1s, UK chart #1s, Golden Globes and Brit Awards amongst countless other achievements.

During the event, they will be joined by special guests Leland (US), Mona Koshoi (Sweden), FlowerkidLucy Blomkamp (both AUS) as well as Gia Woods (US). Additionally, APRA AMCOS has also partnered with Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras. As part of this partnership, they will give one participant the opportunity to perform at a future Mardi Gras event.
