Abbey Road Institute Australia is honoured to present Steeve Body on our producers panel for our upcoming Open Day on September 3rd. Steeve brings with him over a decade’s worth of experience living and breathing the Australian music industry as a music composer, producer, sound designer, engineer and multi-instrumentalist. Steeve will join the likes of Lance Krive, Jimi Maroudas and Paul Brandoli at Abbey Road Institute to host a Producer’s Panel focussing on topics such as:
- How would you judge the state of the Australian Music Industry today?
- What are the most important attributes a young producer needs to generate work?
– How did you go about establishing your personal brand and reputation in the Industry?
- What role will Producers play in the digital online space that the Industry is rushing towards?
Steeve is a highly skilled, creative and technically savvy individual in the field of digital audio production, music and sound design. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the music, advertising, video games, tv and films industry as well as advised some of Australia’s largest firms on their audio branding strategies. These include Yothu Yindi, De La Soul & Seal as well as music composted for Holden, Yalumba & HTC.
Being technically able in the studio is only one side of what it takes to be a successful music producer, Steeve is driven and passionate about all people and connecting with them. This passion has been cultivated through travelling as a child and migrating to Australia from the French Island La Reunion.
This desire to connect with people combined with his technical skills and creativity form the base of a successful skillset and mindset in the recording studio.
Steeve is passionate about music, technology and the science behind the sound, he always strives to achieve sonic excellence. He is a creative thinker and team player, capable of multi tasking on a wide variety of projects and takes initiative to meet project requirements and deadlines. He is a very amicable person and knows how to make artists, talent, and clients at ease to achieve the best results.
Steeve’s continual passion for learning new skills and general curiosity allows him to stay on top of his game and that is demonstrated in an open minded approach to both his life and work.
