Entry Requirements

APPLYING FOR THE ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF MUSIC INDUSTRY.

We encourage applications from a wide range of backgrounds and levels of experience.  If you have passion for production and engineering and meet the entry requirements listed below then we want to hear from you! To apply for the Advanced Diploma you should demonstrate the following:

 

  • AMEB grade two music theory qualification and/or a music portfolio (in which you demonstrate different roles, such as performer, producer, engineer, etc)
  • Any music qualification(s) you may have
  • Previous academic qualifications
  • Previous music industry experience (including mixing and producing on your home computer)
  • Persistence, determination, and the desire to learn
